Mates,

I am trying to get kmobiletools to work on 10.2 with kernel
2.6.22.3-ccj53-default but I am having no luck. kmobiletools was
compiled from the latest SVN without error pursuant to the README and
INSTALL. When I configure kmobiletools, in addition to all the tty#
devices I have added /dev/usb1 through /dev/usb3, but kmobiletools can
never find the phone. I have searched /proc/bus/usb but there are no
helpful devices. I have also done the suggested:

# modprobe usbserial vendor=0x22b8 product=0x6410

based upon the following dmesg output:

usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 3
usb 2-1: new device found, idVendor=22b8, idProduct=6410
usb 2-1: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
usb 2-1: Product: Motorola Phone (RAZRV3xx)
usb 2-1: Manufacturer: Motorola Inc.
usb 2-1: SerialNumber: xxx6100100xxx
usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
usb-storage: device found at 3
usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning
usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage
usb-storage: device scan complete
usbcore: registered new interface driver usbserial
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: USB Serial support registered for generic
usbcore: registered new interface driver usbserial_generic
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: USB Serial Driver core

Bottom line is, I can't figure out what device kmobiletools needs to
use to talk to the phone modem. (I can browse the phone memory from
konqueror just fine, but I can't access the modem to allow for sync, etc..)

        Any help is greatly appreciated.
