You don't want to install the kernel-source.src.rpm, which contains the vanilla kernel sources and the patches from which opensuse built the distro rpms for the kernel+modules, and the patched kernel source. Install kernel-source.rpm, as explained in the other thread ... It is not in the source, but the binary repository.
