Oddly enough, the 1792x1344 resolution isn't even listed in my xorg.conf file. I removed the entire 1600x1200 entry from xorg.conf (leaving 1280x1024 as the highest resolution), but it didn't change anything. Resolution was still maxed out at 1792x1344 the next time I turned on my computer.
