Using opensuse 10.2 and I rely on opensuse update icon/app to notify me
of any security updates.

On occasions opensuse updater comes up with a yellow triangle that
indicates that one or more of the repositories checked was unavailable.
If I rest my mouse on the yellow triangle a pop-up displays giving me
the listing of the repositories that could not be reached. This display
however does not let me copy and paste the results so I cannot monitor
if a particular repository mirror is down.

I have looked, in my best newbie grep, tail and cat, in
/var/log/messages and elsewhere in the directory for a mention of the
updater failing and which repositories caused the error. I have been
unable to find a listing of the failed repositories and I wonder if the
list could point me in the right direction to find log files for the
opensuse update applet.

TIA
