All, Can anyone reproduce this?
I have both a OS 10.2 Samba server using XFS as the underlying FS. And a OS 10.3 Samba server with XFS. Both are running standard Novell provided rpms. On either one If I manually create a directory "F-08-6104 International Management Assoc." on the FS all looks fine from Linux, even from a cifs connected OS 10.3 client >From Windows XP it is showing up as "FMIJ1P~A". And "dir /X" from an XP cmd line shows only one name. i.e Not both a short and long name. I assume this is reproduceable and is a generic Samba bug? If someone in addition to me can confirm , I'll open a novell bugzilla.
