Rickard, with all due respect, Pat's been SAYING why... and others (myself included) haven't had a problem recognizing it. The reason is because you assume that the current dispatchers are ENOUGH, when apparently they're not... and Pat's trying to make it so that the current dispatchers can be used by those for whom it's satisfactory (like you, apparently, and definitely like li'l ol' me) and advanced, super-custom dispatchers can be used by those for whom the current set is NOT enough. That's not a loss. That's a win.
Ok, I may have missed that part. I like the new GenericDispatcher's, if that's what we're talking about.
I haven't been following the discussions very closely, but the times I *have* read them I've agreed with Maurice.Uh... wait a minute. You just said you supported Maurice... yet you aren't up on what's being talked about? Then why are you supporting Maurice? Why are you supporting ANYONE in the discussion if you aren't paying attention? Wouldn't that call for more of an abstention?
Maybe I just need to shut up now and go read the archives :-)
Ignore me.
