After talking with Patrick, I decided to roll back the <command> elements in the config files. All this was really providing was action class defaults for params, interceptors, etc., and we decided that was not enough value for the extra complexity in configuration. The point behind commands is still easily doable, since the method attribute is still there and working for <action> elements. This lets you specify, for this particular action alias, which method will be executed.
