Hi...
Extremely new to OpenSymphony.... I'm trying to determine if this
application, or at least the OSWorkFlow portion, can be used to create a
document management/workflow application.
We're interested in an Open Source solution that will enable our developers
to submit projects, have management review the project ideas with a go/no go
decision, and to somehow track the process of the ideas as they're being
moved through the process....
Ideally we'd like to:
Submit project ideas by developer
Have the idea be reviewed by a team
Allow the team member to vote on the idea
Keep track of the voting process
Based on the vote, have the idea be returned and resubmitted
Alert team members by email
Keep track of the status of an idea
Etc...
The above are just a few of the functions we would like to have. We are
looking for an Open Source solution. We would like the application to be Web
Based, running on Linux.
If you know of a way to implement what we are envisioning, we would
appreciate hearing from you. We would also be interested in other solutions
if this application is not suitable.
