I have found a tree tag in another site that looks useful. if it works with WW I'll try to communicate with its author wheter it could be included into WW (as a copy) somehow.

WebWork doesn't currently have a tree control, but it would be great if you wanted to implement one. Rickard has talked about implementing a lifecycle model for components in WebWork based on the Portlet spec, but nothing's hit CVS yet. If there's a lot of need for these, this is something that could be built pretty easily using Xwork interceptors and the component framework stuff in Xwork.
