Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: WW-197
Summary: ActionSupport.invalidInput() should have public access
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Assigned
   Priority: Minor

    Project: WebWork
 Components:
             Actions
   Versions:
             1.3

   Assignee: Patrick Lightbody
   Reporter: Ryan Schutt

    Created: Tue, 27 May 2003 11:30 AM
    Updated: Tue, 27 May 2003 11:30 AM

Description:
ActionSupport.invalidInput() currently has protected access. This should be made
public. Classes that do not extend ActionSupport, but instead use ActionSupport via
delegation need access to this method. Currently, classes that use ActionSupport via
delegation can't access invalidInput()
