I went to several JSF presentations @ JavaOne and grilled Craig on it
some... I'm planning to at least do the same kind of action resolver
integration Craig has done for Struts, possibly more. I'm still
undecided about the value and future of JSF. On the one hand, I think a
lot of tools will start supporting it. On the other, I think the
overhead of all of the components which must be re-instantiated and
processed for each request (and there will be lots of requests, since it
needs to do this for every sub-component re-render) will make JSF
unusable for anything medium to large (or several small apps on one
box).
