Well, that is something that you can do by storing a domain object in the application's ServletContext. That isn't neccessarily anything unique to WebWork, although it can be done via Inversion of Control, just like the Counter example does. But again, this isn't anything unique to WebWork, so I have a hunch you don't fully understand the Servlet model and/or what WebWork is all about.
