From the comments
on my blog, I've seen that most of you have seen my posting about the xwork.xml
editor. I'd thought I'd answer a few of the questions you guys
asked:
Q) Does it handle
including other files?
A) It allows you
to define your includes, but right now it won't look into those files to see
what actions and interceptors are defined there.
Q) When will the
first beta release be?
A) I should to
have enough time to package it up (initially as a WebStartable application) no
later than Wednesday.
Right now, this is
really nothing more than an "intelligent" XML editor, so keep in mind can't
figure out about anything that is not included in the xwork.xml file
being edited. If there is good response to this, then I'll definitely
consider developing it further to add features such as including other
files.
I'll post here
first when the demo/beta version is ready!
