sometimes the output sent to the browser is all messed up, most of the tags dont render completely if at all, very funky html is produced

Yeah - The errors are probably the http-listener puking on

overloaded


sockets.

FWIW - "Connection reset by peer" could also result from a

bad browser


(read: Internet Exploded). We've seen these in our product

environment


as well (Apache on HP/UX, Oracle 9iAS), but only for IE and

never for


well-behaved browsers (Mozilla/Opera etc.).
