If you've got money to play with, JClass seems to have a nice product (JServerViews and JServerReports). It's not cheap, but there's a lot of functionality, and it's particularly nice at generating extremely complicated charts and easily putting them into PDF's. We've only demo'ed it, but it seems very complete, and they're willing to mock up any chart you need before you decide to buy.
