Hi,

I've just recently started with webwork(2) to examine the framework.  I used the megg application
mentioned on the wiki to boost up a small application for starters. It has worked pretty good for me.
Download megg from this url: http://sourceforge.net/projects/megg and run it by
java -jar $MEGG_JAR
the megg application then asks u for some input and creates the necessary files for u.
What I also found useful in learning ww2 is the wafer application that i've downloaded from sf.net
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wafer/ via cvs.

Good luck,
Robert

Greetings ,

i am trying to set up a very simple application using webwork 2 via
eclipse (tomcat sysdeo plugin). I have downloaded and built successfully
webwork2 and the examples. I have gone though the quickstart guide on
http://wiki.opensymphony.com/space/WebWork2+QuickStart+Guide but the
application will not start under tomcat. I have followed the procedure
thouroughly twice but got the same.

I tried to find out what is going wrong, copying files from the
webwork-example war file which actually works fine. I have tracked down
that if the file components.xml is missing , tomcat will not start the
application, otherwise it will start it but it will through servlet
dispatcher errors...

Has anybody got a very simple application that i can download. Just one
form that sends a value to a dummy action.

Thank you very much....

L
