Dear All,

There seems to be something about calling a package "firefox" which
causes this problem. If I call it "mozfox" instead, all works as it
should. This was found by experiment so, if there is a log file which
would have indicated what is wrong, I'd still like to know please.

Not related to the original post but possibly of interest to others
is that Firefox 19 has an issue in libxul.so with earlier versions of
Ubuntu so that it does not run on OTC. Firefox 17 is the last one that does.

All the best,

Mark
