Ah, ok, well, those ports are hard coded. Anyway, you would have to have a real DHCP-Server serving on those ports, too, so it is pretty much pointless anyway. > Tobias Abt wrote: >> Maybe you got some things wrong. >> a) we don't supply a DHCP server, just a DHCP proxy. Please explain your network setup. I need at least the server types (physical, virtual (VMWare etc.)) and which server OS for at least those services: - DHCP, - DNS, - OpenThinClient server. And network topology (flat or routed) etc... > Tobias Abt wrote: >> If you are going to use a boot disk you will have to create a disk >> containing syslinux/lilo/grub, an appropriate config file and the >> vmlinuz kernel and the initrd file. >> > Using the Rom-O-Matic disk I was able to get the machine to find the server > however I now get an error that says "Alert: got a fragmented packet. > reconfigure your server" > > Any ideas on that? You really give me too little information to work on. :-( BTW, in the log files which you can find at: <otc-path>/serv/default/data/nfs/root/var/log/ and <otc-path>/wrapper/logs/wrapper.log you might find hints about possible problems, too. -- Bye, Tobias Abt levigo systems gmbh ----------- ein unternehmen der levigo gruppe Max-Eyth-Strasse 30 Telefon: 07031 / 4161-10 D-71088 Holzgerlingen Telefax: 07031 / 4161-11 Geschäftsführer: Oliver Bausch http://systems.levigo.de/ Registergericht: Stuttgart HRB 245 180 USt-ID: DE813226078 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ The Open Source Thin Client Solution http://openthinclient.org [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openthinclient-user
