That message might be misleading as the thin client will only accept an IP from the DHCP server if it also got the extra boot file info from the OTC server. Unless it is properly configured as a valid thin client in the OTC management, too, it won't get this info... So, did you configure it as a thin client? Or is it still just visible in the "PXE Clients" section of the manager? > even the windows dhcp server seemed not to assign an ip, because the > client did not print anything about an assigned ip on the console. Maybe that shared remote session to guide you wouldn't be such a bad idea after all... :-) -- Bye, Tobias Abt levigo systems gmbh ----------- ein unternehmen der levigo gruppe Max-Eyth-Strasse 30 Telefon: 07031 / 4161-10 D-71088 Holzgerlingen Telefax: 07031 / 4161-11 Geschäftsführer: Oliver Bausch http://systems.levigo.de/ Registergericht: Stuttgart HRB 245 180 USt-ID: DE813226078 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances!
