Hi,
Regularly I get this error: "[17179695.200000] nfs: server %ip-address
server% not responding, still trying" (where %ip-addres server% is the
ip-address of the OTC server, not the DCHP server). It says that it's
still trying, but when I wait longer, nothing happens..
I found out it happens always when I use the option 'noacpi'. I was
testing with 'noacpi' because the clients regularly don't boot because
it hangs on "Loading hardware drivers" (see my post of last week). But
also when I don't use noacpi sometimes this "not responding" error
occur..
After some searching I found this issue:
https://issues.openthinclient.org/otc/browse/SUITE-208
<https://issues.openthinclient.org/otc/browse/SUITE-208> In the
Comments I see that if you are using "tftp32" you have to change a
setting. But I am using Windows 2000 as a DHCP server. Do I have to
change something in the DHCP settings? Or is there still a problem in
OTC? Or is there a timeout or retry value that can be changed??
We are testing with just 5 thin clients, on a fast and constant network
with a fast Windows 2003 OTC server. So that can't be the problem..
p.s. where can I find witch version I am using??
Met vriendelijke groet,
Jeroen van Wijngaarden
