The option -P specifies the PPD File.

To use a custom ppd file open the manager and select your printer.
Then select the option "raw" from the printer list. The last step is to add the
right ppd file to the additional lpadmin options below.

There you need to add the option -P followed by the path to the ppd file.
For example:

-P /var/tcos/custom/BR5250_2_GPL.ppd

For this example the ppd file has been copied to the path:
/opt/openthinclient/server/default/data/nfs/root/custom/

on the openthinclient server so that every client gets the
same ppd file after booting.

For testing purposes it might be easier to temporary use the
home directory (home/tcos) of one user.

Not at the moment. There is currently no screensaver installed.

We are aware of this feature request. Currently there is no clock applet
available. Also many of our customers use a remote desktop software
to connect to a application or operating system that already provides one.

Kind regards,
Bernd
