You are correct about the way RDP works in OPC, and I found that to be a
bit of an issue as well.  In our case, since our users will only be
connecting to very specific RDP hosts, I just create new RDP “application”
for each server and name it appropriately.  Since each RDP “application”
can have its own settings, it makes it quite convenient to assign to
groups or users as needed.

I can only get the Rdesktop to work if I specify a server address.  Is
there a way to leave it blank so it prompts the user for an address,
similar to how Windows RDP works?  If I don’t specify an address the
rdesktop tries to open and then just stops  with no errors.



I’m running Openthinclient v0.4.5 on a Windows XP machine.
