Thanks for your suggestion to installto replace openjdk with sunjdk. it
worked. I still have an issue, after installing the thin client on my ubuntu
server. once i cannot open the start page in my browser. i typed
http://192.168.0.2:8080 this being the ip of my server. the browser cannot
connect.
if i do the same in another computer on the network. it loads the start page
but once i start the application java starts but throws an error:
