Hello Jörg and list,

thank you for your help.

I installed the nvidia-260 package and created a nvidia-graphic card
device (I tried both 16 and 24 bit / with and without 3d acceleration).

I also went to http://xtiming.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xtiming.pl an
calculated this modline: "1920x1200@60" 210.68 1920 1952 2752 2784 1200
1224 1236 1261
Then I created monitor-device with a 1920x1200 resolution, a 60 Hz-refresh
rate and the modline above.

Now I assigend both devices to my Thinclient. After reboot the X-server
could not be startet (failed to load the nvidia-kernel-module...).

The box of the Zotac ZBox plus reads "next-genereation NVIDIA ION GPU
(with 512 MB ddr3 memory) - so the driver should be ok, right?

Any ideas?

Regards,
Peter

Hello Peter,

as our colleague Daniel Vogel recently mentioned:

Please create a new device of type monitor and configure the modline
according to your needs. In your cases you should use:

"1920x1080@60" 182.28 1920 1952 2640 2672 1080 1102 1113 1135

Visit this site to calculate other modlines:
http://xtiming.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xtiming.pl

Please also install the package nvidia-260 to use ION-NG and set the type
of your grafic card to "nvidia".

Regards,

Jörn
