You have to discard the tcos-branding.
But before that, you have to update the base-package.
This means:
- update the base package
- delete the tcos-branding
- install the desktop application

Important:
If you want to update the package openthinclient-manager, then update it
alone, not together with other packages.

Another way is:
- make a LDIF-export.
- deinstall the openthinclient-software
- download the current version
- install it new
- LDIF import.
