Steffen,

Name is not important, any webbrowser will do, but I can’t find iceweasel
application under consus.
Please can somebody tell me how to get an internet browser application for the
thinclients with consus?????
Is this possible or not?

Met vriendelijke groeten

Firefox is just named iceweasel (due to some Mozilla licencse restrictions
which are not in line with the debian fsg) . That's all

I'd say you try Minerva if you can since Minerva is stable...

Hello,

I am planning to implement OTC in serveral schools. The server where I will
install OTC has some other tasks to do, so it needs to be a CentOS server.
I tried to install Consus on CentOS 6.5 and it boots my clients without a
problem. But the clients have no firefox with this version of OTC, and we need
it.
So I tried to install Ceres on this same machine, I tried both: uninstall
Consus / install Ceres and clean install of CentOS and after that installed
Ceres.
Install is ok, PXE discovery is ok, but my clients always get stuck on a login
prompt (textual, no graphics).
I tried with the virtual appliance of Ceres and no problems with that, but that
appliance is based on Ubuntu and I need to get it working on CentOS.

So, what am I doing wrong?
Isn’t is possible to get my clients booted from OTC on CentOS 6.5?
Or (even better solution for us) is it possible to have firefox on a OTC client
under Consus?
Kind regards,

Steve Dubois
