Hi Andreas,

 

To change the setting you are talking about follow these steps on the
terminal server :

 

1.  Goto: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro
l\TerminalServer\WinStations\RDP-Tcp

2.  Create DWORD

3.  Name: LogonTimeout (DWORD)

4.  Value: Specifies the time in seconds - Decimal Value 300 its 5 minutes,
3600 is 1hr

 

The default is 30 seconds, which is why the window is closing

Hello! We are using OTC 1.0 with Rdesktop to connect to a Windows 2008 R2
Terminalserver. The period for the log-on is limited to 20 Seconds. If no
user logs-on to the Server within 20 seconds the Client shuts down. Is it
possible to increase this period or even switch it off completely?
