hm, indeed the copyright is with Michel Arboi.
My fault. I always was under impression that you
were closely related to Tenable and also your contributions
stopped when Tenable stopped the GPL feed.
So I assumed these scripts were under control of Tenble
and didn't check back. Sorry.

It is a no-brainer and yes, it is a mojor improvement. Since you stopped
(to my best knowldge) to publish debian local security checks beyond
debian_DSA-1320.nasl as Free Software (your company policy might
have to do something with it, so I really do not accuse you about doing so)
we need another solution anyway.
No-brainer because the automation was simply applied to all DSAs ;-)
Also technically this is a good idea to replace them all along, because
the new set use (IMHO) a better name scheme for using the KB
and replacing all of the scripts gives us a consistent scheme.

Can you explain why you are not satisfied?

Sure. Also these have not been continued as Free Software
(to my best knowledge).
Any volunteer supporters for these familes, please raise your hand :-)
Basically you need to develop a converter script and react on new
alerts.
