Better late than never - I raised this request almost 3 months ago ;). I'll forward on the port assignment as soon as I get it. It does however raise an interesting question. Which services, openvasd or the manager being written by Matt should we give it to? I did have a thought that maybe we could change openvasd to use a UNIX socket instead and thereby get some much needed privilege separation?
