Great, I was waiting for this to come through so that I could comment. Was there any discussion about that the various libraries should be known as on the filesystem? The reason I ask is that for example, libstring might be a bit generic. Maybe libopenvas-<module> or something? +1 to the concept though, it should make life much easier.
