It is definitely beta5, which is weird because I am almost certain this format 
output worked on my amd64 server when compiled from the same tarball...  

I will re-grab the source from OpenVAS and re-compile and install and see if I 
can reproduce...

What version are you running?  This looks like the xlstproc call issue
solved 2010-03-04 (just before 1.0.0-beta5).

Perhaps you ran CPE before ITG, which would overwrite the CPE output in
openvasmd_generic.
