Hello again.

I just put a out a new beta2 of the OpenVAS virtual appliance that supports
a locally installed GUI. So there are two versions:

1) Console only version which has all OpenVAS components, but you need to
use a web browser on a different system to access the web interface. This
one is small and fast.

2) A virtual appliance that has everything (including KDE and Firefox) and
even autolaunches the web browser. This one is bigger and a bit slower.

If you plan on scanning more than a couple machines using the appliance,
make sure you increase the amount of RAM. It comes pre-configured for 1GB,
but you will need to increase it if you plan on scanning an entire /24 size
network.

Packages are available at: http://h1641488.stratoserver.net/

Feedback is welcome.
