I'm having problems getting openvassd to run. I have resynced and removed the /var/lib/openvas/plugins more than once and I still get the same error:
[root@blahj ~]# openvassd Loading the plugins... 13719 (out of 23685) ** ERROR **: File is empty aborting... Aborted (core dumped) How can I see 'which' of these files is empty? Things I've done that don't work: 1 - rm -rf /var/lib/openvas/plugins 2 - openvas-nvt-sync --wget 3 - [root@blah ~]# openvas-nvt-sync --wget [i] Using GNU wget: /usr/bin/wget [i] Configured NVT http feed: http://www.openvas.org/openvas-nvt-feed-current.tar.bz2 [i] Downloading to: /tmp/openvas-nvt-sync.2NLxuI85iv/openvas-feed-2011-11-14-6556.tar.bz2 --2011-11-14 11:46:50-- http://www.openvas.org/openvas-nvt-feed-current.tar.bz2 Resolving www.openvas.org... 78.47.251.62 Connecting to www.openvas.org|78.47.251.62|:80... connected.
