so many people telling me this bullshit since many years

proven by 8 dist-upgrades with not more downtime as for
a normal kernel update on more than 20 production systems
and in suammy some hundret of fedora dist-upgrades, building
and deploy any server-related software since many years
by myself this shows only lack of wualification and lazyiness

because for PHP 5.4, MySQL 5.6, Postfix 2.9, dbmail 3.0, ffmpeg 1.0
you have to replace half of the distribution which is not so
easy due dependencies and finally you end in a mess

YOU may not care in recent software
we do - because we are developing any web-driven software
and any admin-backend running on top of our infrastructure
inhouse and using new features heavily

since this works for any other software OpenVAS will not be the
reason to change anything in the software-cycles especially
since any server here has and older install base as OpenVAS
existed at all
