Hello, can you tell me where I can enter the SMB credentials? I can't find the preference for that settings. For Linux (SSH based) scans yes but not Local Windows scans.

Please let me know if you know the answer. Not sure about what you observe on Backtrack. But in general OpenVAS modelled the Credentials separate from the NVTs. At least for SSH and SMB. To avoid confusion, the credential NVTs are made invisible and are only managed by the OpenVAS Manager. So, there is only one way for the user to configure the credentials. -- Dr. Jan-Oliver Wagner | ++49-541-335084-0 | http://www.greenbone.net/ Greenbone Networks GmbH, Neuer Graben 17, 49074 Osnabrück | AG Osnabrück, HR B 202460 Geschäftsführer: Lukas Grunwald, Dr. Jan-Oliver Wagner _______________________________________________ Openvas-plugins mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wald.intevation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openvas-plugins _______________________________________________ Openvas-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wald.intevation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openvas-discuss
