Yeah, I JUST had this problem today. I had to renew the certs as below and rerun openvas-setup. It maintained all of my tasks and users, but would not take until I reran setup after recreating my expired certs.

Hey,

do you also renew the certificates?

I thinks it was
openvas-mkcert
and
openvas-mkcert-client -n -i

Thanks a lot for that hint! I applied the patch, re-built and re-installed
everything, but it doesn't work either. But the error message changed:
running 'openvasmd -v --rebuild' emits the following in the log file:

<snip>

Any ideas?

Thanks
Albrecht.
