Understood, I'm working on moving away from this unsupported version.

When I tried moving tasks.db, from the old server to a new updated openvas
server, it gave me an error.

md main:MESSAGE:2016-07-18 18h57.37 utc:16229: check_db_versions:

Do you know of any way to import the old settings?

You are correct there was another version of that nasl in the 2013 folder.
I removed the latest one and now the scanner is loading. Thank you very
much for helping me solve that.

I guess if I do a new sync it will automatically load that nasl again and
I have to delete it everytime?

I am running scanner version 4.0.2. Manager version 5.0.3. Ubuntu 14.04.4
LTS

I don't see 2 copies of that NVT:

/var/lib/openvas/plugins# ls -ltr gb_tls*
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 4932 Jul 13 03:06 gb_tls_version.nasl

-rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 181 Jul 13 03:07 gb_tls_version_get.nasl.asc

Here's the kern.log error:

Hello,

My scanner isn't starting and fails while loading about 36% of the NVTs.
I've tried re-doing the certs, deleting entire cache and NVTs and re
syncing them.

I'm running older versions of the software because when I tried updating
to a new server I couldn't import the old tasks database

Can this be fixed with my current scanner version of OpenVAS Scanner
4.0.2:

[Tue Jul 19 17:15:42 2016][8183] Loading gb_apache_traffic_detect.nasl

Hi, does anyone know if it's an easy task to impersonate a user? If you're
logged in as admin and want to see another users tasks, schedule or simply
impersonate him. I dont see it as an option in GSA currently (is it on the
roadmap). is there a way to do it via OMP? Thanks - TN

Please check if there are 2 gb_tls_version.nasl in your plugin directory.
If yes, delete one of them. It's an issue with the feed...

Which scanner version is this?

Hi,

schedule or simply impersonate him.

impersonating itself is not possible but you can use the super-permissions
to get access to other users tasks, reports, schedules and so on:

http://docs.greenbone.net/GSM-Manual/gos-3.1/en/user_permissions.html#supe
r-permissions
