Hi I notice in the release notes that the OpenVAS 9 Scanner has changed from TCP to a Unix Socket.
I currently have a distributed setup with various scanners scattered around the place and a central Manager on Version 8. I've now built the new OpenVAS9 manager with Postgres support, but can't now connect to the new OpenVAS 9 scanner on a remote site becuase it's using sockets instead of TCP. The GSA shows OpenVAS as a scanner with port 9391, and it lets me connect to a version 8 scanner, but obviously not a version 9 scanner. Is there a way of doing this? Thanks Roger
