Ah. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Are you referring to the specific patch by Michael? I agree that it would have needed more documentation before being acceptable for inclusion. Or are you referring to the VLAN patch-set in general? (BTW, the latest version adds a few additional clarifications to the openvpn man page [0].)
