Just to update, the numbers for the previous 24h period are 483,133,678 total between the two OpenVPN machines but the tun0 interface total is 410,292,539 which seems much more reasonable. The day before yesterday though it was 1,404,469,513 between the OpenVPN hosts and 1,267,234,467 on the tun0 interface, so again, fairly reasonable. So apart from that one outlier that I just happened to look at, the numbers look decent enough. We can probably disregard this issue at this point. Cheers, b.
