Hi Tomaso, I hope you enjoyed your vacation, I'm sure you ate plenty of good food :) Your question calls for a roadmap for 1.0, or rather a list of things I'd like to have before flagging it 1.0 : * some base/intro documentation, this is under construction (http://openwferu.rubyforge.org/ttt/p0.html), it will need review, critique, suggestion, feedback * "split env" (http://rubyforge.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=16972&group_id=2609&atid=10195), currently the variable system is rudimentary in that, when you save / set a variable, its whole container (all the other vars at the same level) get saved. I want to make it finer grained. It's not a big deal, but it's like 3-4 days of work, and I want to make sure that the new expstorage can read older versions of persisted processes (backward compatible) * I will extract the openwferu scheduler out of the openwferu source tree, make it an independent subproject. Possibly, it could get renamed "rufus-scheduler". OpenWFEru is quite hard to pronounce, Rufus is much easier (and it's latin based). I already reserved http://rufus.rubyforge.org. I have been thinking about a "rebranding" for a while, many people have advocated it to me and if you have a copy of "The Rails Way" by Obie Fernandez, have a look at page 722. (Somehow I could end up rebranding everything to Rufus). * http://rubyforge.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=15813&group_id=2609&atid=10195 is also something I'd like to achieve before 1.0, it's a rationalization of a group of four expressions * there is also the old rest (2003-style) that I'd like to move out of the core OpenWFEru.
