Hello,

yes, but

- a business process is supposed to change more often than an
application (except for an application mapping exactly one business
process)
- a business process (workflow) is defined via a process definition
language, which is a high level (hopefully) programming language (an
application developer uses a plain programming language)
- an application developer hardcodes business processes
implementations into its applications, a workflow developer would
rather use a workflow engine (embedded in its application or as an
'external' component, like a database is)


This is all I could think of for now, it's only my opinion though. I
