Bringing back the discussion on that, wouldn't it be OK to simply have
Nanite / XMPP / DB / TC in the core and simply "force" the user to
require them (they'll require their deps) if he needs them ?
Trying to avoid gem proliferation...

Maybe I'm wrong.
