I'm compiling the 8device uboot located here: https://github.com/8devices/u-boot.git Using the OpenWRT cross compiler.
When I get to the end I can't link because of a missing _GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE_ symbol. Googling around people say that adding -fno-pic may solve this but I haven't had any success.
