There are times when I apply patches with patch utility, some *.orig
and *.rej files will be generated in the tree and later copied in the
final binary image. It would be convenient if we can detect those
stale files with 'git status'.
It now occurs to me that only several directories should be ignored by
git to keep the source tree clean.
