I am not sure which issue Günther is trying to solve, but there ath10k firmware crashes for some users: [0] For me the crashes are reproducible even with the latest v5 firmware on a QCA9880-BR4A. However, older and newer ath10k firmware versions are working fine on a QCA9880-2R4E - so it seems that this crash is chip-specific.
