Hi all, A while back I proposed some PR’s to allow baking in root passwords (configurable, so it wouldn’t have to be some lame constant password) as well as turning off password login for OpenSSH server.
The maintainers of base-files and openssh didn’t like either. So I’m proposing a virtual package that scribbles on both as part of its /postinst script, which was suggested as a compromise.
