Hi OpenWrt developers and friends, We at Software Freedom Conservancy (OpenWrt's fiscal home) have been getting a lot of questions about the new European legislation, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). We've been working with the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) throughout this process. Together with Alexander Sander, Policy Consultant at the FSFE, we will share some more information about how the CRA might impact FOSS projects and developers.
The session will be held this Thursday July 17th 16:00 UTC/6pm CEST/noon EDT/9am PDT and will last one hour. Topics covered include: * What is the CRA? Who does it impact? * What do we expect it to mean for FOSS projects and developers? Will anything change for us? * When will CRA come into effect? * Is there anything FOSS projects need to do now? Please email me privately if you would like an invite (BigBlueButton) to join this session and learn how OpenWrt can be prepared for any changes the CRA may bring.
