 Which is probably isn't right either. Have you looked into the rt2860
 specs? Does
 it actually have proper support for multiple TSF timers and is there any
 encryption on your links (so can the crypto of the rt2860 support 3- or 4-
 address keys)? Otherwise the IBSS + AP would only work half-decent if you
 use software crypto and the AP is the secondary inferface (it needs to be
 initialized and brought up after the IBSS has connected/created). Also,
 one more downside of this is that the clients of the AP might experience
 strange data and packet loss when they are power-saving due to sudden
 changes of the jumpy TSF. (Depending on the client, they also might detect
 the secondary AP as rogue, or do frequent disconnects for no apparent
 reason, etc...).

 If you want to save yourself the trouble: Either go for full mesh or get a
 device that
 supports those modes (i.e.: devices with two or three independent wifi
 chips).
