Are there anything in /proc or /sys or something that might indicate that
we've encountered the issue with wifi being up but allowing connections?
Or are there some kernel modules I could increase logging for that might
hint at the same issue? If so, it might be easier to get to the bottom of
this issue (and I could have my workaround script trigger on those
events).
